Privacy Policy
ChorusPop collects no data. There are no accounts, analytics, ads or tracking, and your songs never leave your iPhone unless you share them.
This policy covers the ChorusPop app for iPhone and this website. Both are published by Emtanon LLC (“we”, “us”).
What we collect
Nothing. ChorusPop has no sign-in, no servers of its own and no third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, crash reporting or tracking. We don’t sell, share or receive personal data, and we don’t track you across apps or websites.
What stays on your iPhone
Songs are made on the device. Your songs, lyrics, style choices, titles, albums, covers and settings are saved inside the app on your iPhone. We never see them. Deleting the app deletes them. Like other app data, they may be included in your own iCloud or computer backups of your iPhone, under your settings with Apple.
If you use a photo as a cover, you pick it with the system photo picker. ChorusPop gets a copy of that one photo, not access to your library.
The song model download
When you install ChorusPop, or the first time you open it, iOS downloads the song model (about 2 GB). It is hosted by Apple and delivered by iOS through Apple’s Background Assets service, in the same way as other App Store content. We don’t operate that download and receive no information from it. Apple’s handling of it is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Lyric timing
To highlight lyrics as a song plays, ChorusPop runs Apple’s on-device speech recognition over the song it just made. This runs on your iPhone; the audio isn’t sent anywhere. ChorusPop doesn’t use the microphone. iOS may download Apple’s on-device speech files the first time this runs.
Notifications
ChorusPop can send local notifications, for example when songs pause. They are created on your iPhone, not sent from a server, and are optional. You can turn them off at any time in Settings.
Sharing
A song leaves your iPhone only when you share it. You choose where it goes from the iOS share sheet, and the app or person you share with handles it under their own terms.
Crash reports from Apple
If you turn on “Share with App Developers” in your iPhone’s Settings, Apple may give us crash reports and anonymous usage statistics. That is controlled by you and Apple; ChorusPop itself sends nothing.
This website
choruspop.com uses no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. Like most web servers, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested and browser) for security and troubleshooting. We don’t use them to identify or track visitors.
Children
ChorusPop collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
